Anyone make any REAL money with clips4sale?

I finally got myself a camcorder! It's mainly going to be for youtube videos I make of Disney and the other theme parks here in Orlando for my tourist site.

However I also thought about making some fetish sissy videos wearing a female mask. That niche is narrow and they want to see every video they can find. Fetish kink like wearing female mask, full body female suits and so on sell well.

HOWEVER,,, I see most clips go for only 6 bucks or so on clips4sale. Then once you pay your fees your lucky to get 2 bucks or so per clip!

I know many shemale stars here use clips4sale. Do you really make any money on it? By that I mean say hundreds a week? I suppose it depends on how popular you are and how many clips you have. Having 200 clips your going to make more than someone with just 5.

Could anyone that use them tell me if you can make a few hundred bucks a week off them? Or other places to sell your clips non-exclusive? Thanks.

Me and couple of friends have stores with clips4sale. You can certainly make money from clips4sale and pretty easy however no big money if you don't have a LOT of unique content. I just see it as a nice side income.

So yeah your content needs to be some what unique and you need to frequently update your store to get traffic to it so don't post all your videos right away but instead spread them out.

So with little effort I would say you can make a couple of hundred or low thousands a month depending on your content and have much content you have.

Wow... my experience varies vastly from Valentin...

I used the site for a little while but I found it to be completely irritating. The navigation for store owners is bad and uploading took forever. Additionally, they have [had] all these little rules about how you have to keep posting new stuff in order to keep links to outside sites. Customer service was non-existent and after I moved, I had an outstanding balance with them that still has not been paid and I've pretty much given up and moved on.

It was fairly decent money but not worth the headache or detraction from my own paysite to maintain.

[EDIT] Plus... be prepared for an onslaught of people contacting you requesting custom movies and complaining about your pricing structure...

[ANOTHER EDIT] Plus... I think THEY actually own anything you upload? I'm not sure of this but someone emailed me a while back about that with a warning and a long story that I won't bore you with.

If you are already making unique videos for a paysite or whatever, then you're basically throwing money away to not have a clips4sale store even taking into consideration what Krissy said; the site IS massively slow and irritating in the admin panel but even after crying with irritation today scheduling a bunch of clips to post over the next couple weeks, I realize how it's a small investment considering the payoff. Not huge, but certainly worth uploading vids overnight while you sleep and investing a couple of hours a month in scheduling them to post at regular intervals.

I don't think I would try to make a living on c4s alone, but I guess it depends on your niche(s) - how large the audience is, if they already use c4s and how much competition there already is on the site for that. Fetish stuff definitely works on clips4sale better than regular sex vids.

One of the things I love about clips4sale is that it's an excuse to dabble in more focused fetishes and learn things. I love the feeling of a site that to me is totally about independently produced porn that's totally in touch with stuff you do not see on the vast majority of corporate porn sites that totally don't get any of the stuff you see on c4s. Like, all of that content would totally fail on clips4sale and that makes me clap my hands with glee! Not because I hate corporate porn but because I like seeing indies have an advantage.

Yes its definitely worth having - have not even got 25% of my content up there .. but still made a noticeable amount since i opened the store. fetish, outdoors, risque not quite normal run of the mill kinda stuff does seem to sell nicely there
